The deleting worked, but it hung again on the import.īy the way, Parallels is a very cool hypervisor program that runs on OS X Macs that have Intel processors, and enables multiple virtual machines running different operating systems. I tried deleteing all metadata from a jpeg before doing a "import metadata into single file". " Warning no writable tags found -filename.NEF If I try exporting metadata from the NEF as XMP I get a message like: txt, but it hangs if I try to export as MIE. I can also export all metadata from a NEF as a. can't find table Image ::ExifTool::XMP::exif "Image/Exiftool/XMP.pm did not return a true value at (eval 20) line 3. I can change metadata, and it gets successfully saved, but puts up a message like: so it's hard to guess (especially if you're running ExifToolGUI on "Vista in parallels on Mac Pro").Ĭan you post jpg file sample (coming from Aperture) and a mie file created from nef file, so I can tryout here? I've checked again: here I have few NEF samples, and I can export/import metadata to jpg/tif without problems. Have you tried to delete all medatada inside jpg/tif file first, and then use "Import metadata into single file"? If the problem is only when you try to copy (restore) medatada from nef into jpg/tif, then there might be some problem with jpg/tif files.
